esch Posted June 16, 2010 Report Posted June 16, 2010 Theres a politician (Cherokee Nation) here building about 40 houses for leasing.. 20 are done. I was next door at a supply house when I noticed that the OSB sheathing runs vertical, half have slick side in half have rough side in. Thier bricking/vinyl siding these bad boys, no building paper behind any of it. Vinyl windows, not even using that peal and stick flashing mobile home manufacturers use. They pour self Leveling concrete with footers being poured seperate wth no rebar connecting the 2. Ill try to get some pictures as they poured concrete monday, and today they are going to shingle the roof... Do yall see this much? Matt
Tom Raymond Posted June 16, 2010 Report Posted June 16, 2010 Matt, you're talking about a tribal territory where the rules are different, if there are any at all. That said, there is a large production builder here doing that stuff on $2-300k homes, and another that did in the late 70s and early 80s trying to make a come back. Tom
