Water supply line -- is it polybutylene?

Can't see much of the pipe -- It appears to be a blueish grey. There is not enough exposed to see any markings.

House was built in 89.

should the line be replaced?

What is this, the week for Acetal service fittings.

Check recent threads. There have been two others posting the exact same thing earlier this week.

That's an acetal fitting.

Commonly used with PB pipe.

Some of the PB service pipes were *not* part of the recall and seem to be fine.

You won't know without exposing a foot or two of pipe and reading the number.
