I've found these thin mirrored bifold doors a few times. They have no significant support backing and are very flimsy. No markings that indicate tempered either.

They scare me. What do you think of them?

Those that I've seen have an attached backing bonded to them that looks like fiberglass or something similar. I don't get too worked up over them. I've even seen some that have broken glass, but it never has fallen off.

If the thin backing hangs on to the glass I suppose that would be less of a hazard.

Did the broken glass you saw have cracks consistent with safety glass cracking?

I just worn the fat & ugly clients that they might get a glimpse of themselves naked.
