Judging by the frequency of quakes up there, it looks like Alaska's fixin' to become two states.

I've been following the geological issues with the Ring of Fire for several years.

It's a relatively recent phenomenon (in the US) to have so many people in places where there are earthquakes and volcanoes. It may not happen in my lifetime, but there's going to be some bad stuff happen to one or more metro areas some day.
