Jim Baird Posted April 26, 2010 Report Posted April 26, 2010 One of the most slipshod, arrogant, and dishonest homebuilders I have met has been written up in the neighboring county for eight counts of "theft by deception". I would reply that such description is his standard modus. The counts are said to relate to a musical performance event with which he was connected. Seems the ticket money went missing when the show was over. I met him five years ago inspecting a new home he was almost finished with and was selling to a newly widowed lady. The realtor sat with her at the new diggs holding her hand, while I tallied a long list of serious problems. When the inspection report was issued all three of them ganged up on me, not a single correction was performed, and I found out later that he sold an identical house down the street to a big-busted single gal for 40K less than he charged the widow.

Jim Baird Posted April 27, 2010 Author Report Posted April 27, 2010 OK, next question. While the OP may show a touch of bitterness, I try to subscribe to the idea that everyone you meet has something to teach you, and vice versa. I wonder what I'm supposed to learn from this guy.
Marc Posted April 27, 2010 Report Posted April 27, 2010 Yes, every person has something to teach you.....well....most of them anyway. Marc
