Learned another trick today

I never had much of a habit of yanking plastic siding around. I'll touch it and slide it sometimes, but I never do more than that.

That's going to change now.

The whole side of the house was just one big curtain. When I back tracked, I found more of the same.

I've had a few like that. They're nice, just write off the entire wall finish. I like it when the big fish come so easily.

Years ago I had a lady want a quote on re-installing the siding on her home. The ENTIRE house was installed over 2" foamboard with 1" nails. I never have figured out how it even held on in the first place....

Looks like somebody got swindled. That looks like a builder saved some time and money by cutting a lot of corners. I'm not sure what the motivation was but I feel sorry for the owner - unless the owner was the one who did it.
