Question for Oregon Inspectors.

What would you do if you found out that other inspection companies were sending gift certificates and other incentives to agent's?

I'll probably just ignore it and mind my own business, but am considering sending them a copy of the new law, along with the CCB's Q&A info. stating that this is disallowed. I'm not the type to turn anybody in, but wonder if they are even aware that this is illegal.

I'm sure they are aware of it, more than likely they just don't care.

That's what I would do. Play it nicely first, maybe talk to them in a casual but professional manner, then turn them in if they are adamant. I'm not going to let someone imperil the boat that I'm in. In the words of Muhammid Ali...Dances like a butterfly, stings like a bee.
