Mr. Electric
Here is what the panel and wiring looks like in a crack house. The wiring (or lack of) was in the attic and basement crawl space. They removed everything that was accessible! Rocon
Has anyone calculated the $ amount that people get for stripping the copper out of a house like this?
Marc
I sell copper every now and then. This little house...I'd say about enough to get a case of brew if he didn't strip the sheathing and insulation. Maybe a keg if he did. That's just the wiring, not the plumbing. plummen
we're in the middle of wiring /plumbing and mechanical on a house that sat empty for a couple years before the crackheads broke in and stripped all the copper water lines. [:-censore [:-censore [:-censore [:-censore [:-censore once the city found out they comdemmed the property which sucks cuz its still a nice solid old brick house. anyway now the new owner has to dump around $40,000.00 into renovating it to bring everything up tocurrent code since it was condemned [:-weepn]
