Mike Lamb Posted March 14, 2010 Report Posted March 14, 2010 It's probably in front of my nose but I can't find the AC Age cheat sheet in the library.
Terence McCann Posted March 14, 2010 Report Posted March 14, 2010 Is this it Mike? https://www.inspectorsjournal.com/forum ... oto&id=107
hausdok Posted March 14, 2010 Report Posted March 14, 2010 https://www.inspectorsjournal.com/forum ... oto&id=107 We don't actually have a cheat sheet for AC systems; just a cheat sheet to read various brand name serial numbers.
Mike Lamb Posted March 14, 2010 Author Report Posted March 14, 2010 Yes, thanks, that's it. I was looking for AC and walked past the furnace. This was International Comfort and the s# was goofed a little in the wrong spot. I thought mid 90's but maybe 1990? I did not get a full shot but the unit was boxy. Click to Enlarge 53.55 KB
hausdok Posted March 14, 2010 Report Posted March 14, 2010 I blew it way up. I'm thinking October 2000. These companies are bought and sold and move around a lot. Find out where the company is headquartered now and compare it to the address on the label. If the current address doesn't match what's on the label, a little bit of googling can usually reveal where they'd been previously and when they'd moved or been bought out. OT - OF!!! M.
GrantJones Posted June 4, 2010 Report Posted June 4, 2010 Thanks for that link, Darren. That's a new site for me.
