Ok, That makes sense. Never seen one here in OKLA. That explains the pretty much instant hot water in the house. They look fairly simple to install, and I would think cost effective. What drives the pump?

Electricity that comes to it via the little grey cord.

I tell people to put these things on timers. No one needs to have their hot water flying in circles around the house 24/7.
