Terence McCann Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 I would like to make a gift subtitution and apply the credit to a new IR (just bought a new PM - the last drop out of the attic did her in). [:-party] Good stuff Jim.
MMustola Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 Nice job Jim. I wish I could write that well.
Nolan Kienitz Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 Extraordinary article Jim. My wife and I are in that despised "re" category as well. We discovered and fell in love with each other 20-years ago and are continue our new-found relationship and experience each and every day. We say "To he!! with the nay-sayers!" They're just jealous []
Richard Moore Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 I just checked with my first and current wife of 24+ years for what I should call it if I get married again. ..... I'll get back to you when she's talking to me again!
John Dirks Jr Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 What if you marry the same person a second time? Is that remarraige? I actually know a couple who did it. To end the story, they finally got redivorced. No kidding. [:-crazy]
Rob Amaral Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 Got the 'hard copy' in the driveway this AM... Nice job Jimmy.. !
Phillip Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 Jim, That was very well said. In my first I was young and dumb. (yes even dumber than I am now) I took on my first and started a family. It was not to last but 7 years. My second time around was the best thing I have ever done. I have never know the joy I had with Deborah. She went to be with the Lord three years ago and I am still madly in love with her and miss her every day. Enjoy every moment you have with your true love.
kurt Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 Having an unfortunate first one makes going for a second an extreme act of bravery. Jimmy nailed it. [:-apple]
Jim Morrison Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 Thanks for the clicks and comments amigos. Praise from this group is tough to come by and doubly weighted. Jimmy
Jack Ahern Posted February 22, 2010 Report Posted February 22, 2010 We have a lot more in common than you know. Some day over some Guinnesses, I'll tell you my life story. Good move.[:-party]
Tim H Posted February 22, 2010 Report Posted February 22, 2010 After more than five years of frequenting this community, I should not be surprised by the talent of the contributors, but sometimes I still am. Very well written piece, Jim. Thanks for sharing, Chad. Tim
Jim Morrison Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 Jack, More in common than my cousins who grew up in your Parish? More than my mother-in-law's house in Denmark, ME? More than our love for Guinness? More than doing home inspections? What more is there??? See you soon, Jimmy PS, Kelli, me, and my sons are already registered for the 4 on the 4th again this year. Are you going to be in town for it, and thirsty this year?
