Looking for Inspectors to Teach Part-Time

Wisdom & Associates, Inc. is looking for inspectors who would like to become Lead Safety Instructors for our company. This opportunity would be in addition to your current home inspection business and would be as many or as few dates as your schedule allows.

Type of Training

As of April 22, 2010 the EPA will require contractors, remodelers and painters become certified to perform work in homes built prior to 1978. We are looking for inspectors to meet the training demand by becoming instructors. The 8 hour course, "Lead Safety for Renovation, Repair & Painting" covers how to identify the presence of lead, safe work practices, and EPA requirements.

Compensation on Contract Basis

As a contract instructor, you would be allowed to work as many or as few days as your schedule allows. We offer a premium compensation based on the number of students in a class.

We Handle All Logistical Support

We cover all the logistical support: advertisement, student enrollment, equipment and supplies for a course. You simply arrive at the class venue with helpers for hands-on activities and present the course.

Locations

We’re looking for instructors to teach from their community, this means you increase your presence in your community, and no overnight travel is required.

No Lead Experience Necessary – We Provide Free Lead Education To You

We are recruiting inspectors because you have a background in a related field that complements this training. We’ll bring you up to speed on the latest lead information in 16 hours of free lead education as part of our application process.

Interesting, I'll be taking my 8 hour certification on Tuesday, and I had planned on asking about certification to teach the class as well as to do the verification testing.
