John Dirks Jr Posted October 6, 2009 Report Posted October 6, 2009 Lets say I anticipate a search query to be; fast motorcycles I attempt to purchase www.fastmotorcycles.com but it's not available. I find that www.fast-motorcycles.com is available. Is the hyphenated version any better or worse than the non hyphenated version?

dcmeagle Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 Google does it's best to sort out words in a domain name so it's really not necessary. When it comes to page names though then it's MUCH more important to get the hyphen in there as Google doesn't put the processing power into deciphering page names as much.
