John Dirks Jr Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 I put my TK-11 through it's first inadvertent durability test. I was using it to inspect support beams in a basement. It began to slip out of my hand. In an attempt to catch it I missed. Not only did I drop it but I slammed it onto the concrete slab. The light stayed on and it still works like new. Trust me, it hit the slab hard. I'm happy it survived.
kurt Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 I've done a similar thing. Thought for sure I'd see the lens cracked. Nope. So far, I proclaim it to be the ultimate flashlight. It wins on all counts.
Brad Manor Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 I have also inadvertently "bounce tested" mine a few times. Most recently: today it fell from an attic hatch to the hardwood. I've got a feeling that little flashlight will be around for a long time. -Brad

The house was about 40 yrs old, a little blemish in the hardwood gets lost among the others.[] -Brad
