There are several different versions out there. - Jim Katen, Oregon Are they just spacers for when the trusses are installed and the builders often leave them there? I see these all of the time as well and assumed that was what they were for.

I see these all of the time as well and assumed that was what they were for. Yes. They're pretty much disposable. I suppose that the framer's could take them off an reuse them, but there really isn't any point because they're cheap. - Jim Katen, Oregon
