This particular tankless unit is a direct vent type with a condensate line. The unit is installed in an attic space and the condensate is plumbed to the TPR valve extension. I am not a fan of PVC for TPR valve drains and I cannot locate a manual for condensate drain line specs. Nonetheless, common sense seems to suggest that plumbing a condensate to the horizontal portion of the TPR drain is improper. Sorry for the bad pic. The TPR drains to the right and the condensate is the line connecting at the left of the photo. Thanks in advance.
