Congratulations! I hope that mom is doing well and that dad is coping. He looks like a peaceful soul. The first ones are often like that. It's nature's way of tricking you into having more.

His name is Matthew Rice Whitmore. We named him after my brother and grandfather.

He was born 8-10-09 so he's only a few days old now. He came out about 21" long, and 7 lbs even--- luckily he wasn't any bigger or mom wouldn't have been happy.

Chris, you must be nuts. How do you get any sleep [:-weepn]
