There must be something in the water

In the past three days, a string of violent situations left three officers dead and three more wounded as a series of domestic calls turned into gun battles in New York City, Oklahoma and Colorado. Two of the dead officers were in Oklahoma one in New York City.

I hope to hell this is only a coincidence and there isn't something out there like mad cow disease causing folks to do this kind of thing.
