Phillip Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 I think the panel on the right was added when they changed to a heat pump in 1987. I listed a few things I found wrong with it and wrote to have the items repaired along with anything else the electrician found. RickSab Posted July 4, 2009 Report Posted July 4, 2009 I love the conduit/plastic pipe used. Looks like the white wire of the bottom breaker of the secondary panel goes into the panel on the left, then pigtails to another wire and goes to the neutral buss. Thats enough for get a qualified, licensed electrician to repair bla bla.
waynesoper Posted July 4, 2009 Report Posted July 4, 2009 No bond to sub panel, ground strap broken, drain pipe conduit, did they bypass the meter, and what is that black wire on the neutral buss bar?

waynesoper Posted July 7, 2009 Report Posted July 7, 2009 That black one in there . yeah. Thats what I was looking at. HUH?
Phillip Posted July 7, 2009 Author Report Posted July 7, 2009 The big black wire is not connected to the bus bar. It turn down and runs behind the red wire. There is a small black wire that runs from the bus bar on the main panel to the lug that the bare copper wires are connected it.
