hausdok Posted June 26, 2009 Report Posted June 26, 2009 Very kewl, The Constitution was used for a training ship for a time. I'm disappointed that I missed out on the one at the link below. It would have made a great floating home inspection college. We would have been able to have a house moving company put four or five old test houses up on the deck for inspection practice. Oh well. John Dirks Jr Posted June 27, 2009 Report Posted June 27, 2009 The USS Constellation is docked in Baltimore. I've toured it. It was very cool. http://www.constellation.org/welcome_vid.html
kurt Posted June 27, 2009 Report Posted June 27, 2009 Very nice. It's hard to even imagine what it would have been like sailing something that fine.
Jerry Simon Posted June 27, 2009 Report Posted June 27, 2009 It's hard to even imagine what it would have been like sailing something that fine. 'Specially since you would have been below deck the whole time peelin' potatoes, mumbling something about cantilevers.
