Chad Fabry Posted May 29, 2009 Report Posted May 29, 2009 Nice. I've managed to catch a few (I won't say how many pictures I took in the process) but none of mine are as nice as yours.
Les Posted May 29, 2009 Report Posted May 29, 2009 Mike, is that you in the big drip? Cool! When do we get another cartoon?
ghentjr Posted May 29, 2009 Report Posted May 29, 2009 I used to carry a box of caps for such minor drips. Made everyone happy to see it fixed.
resqman Posted May 29, 2009 Report Posted May 29, 2009 I use $100 Nikon Coolpix cameras. Take pictures of dripping tub faucets and get drips first time, every time. First few times I was really impressed. Now I am expect the camea to deliver. Click to Enlarge 27.06 KB
Michael Carson Posted May 29, 2009 Report Posted May 29, 2009 I like to take pictures of the shower when I run it (during and inspection). Looks pretty cool. I think I see Jesus in the first picture water drop....no just photographer[:-magnify

Chad Fabry Posted May 29, 2009 Report Posted May 29, 2009 I guess that proves it: home inspectors are nerd freaks.
mthomas1 Posted May 29, 2009 Report Posted May 29, 2009 How long do you guys usually wait to see if its going to stat moving again?
Chad Fabry Posted May 29, 2009 Report Posted May 29, 2009 How long do you guys usually wait to see if its going to stat moving again? How ever long it takes, Mike. How ever long it takes.

randynavarro Posted May 30, 2009 Report Posted May 30, 2009 Call me critical but I think there's just something so much more . . . artistic in Mike L's original photo.
Richard Moore Posted May 30, 2009 Report Posted May 30, 2009 Call me critical but I think there's just something so much more . . . artistic in Mike L's original photo. I totally agree. The contrast of the sharply focused drip with the soft focus of the pressure valve in the background is a classic study of the irony in life, while the stark primary color of the knob opposes the lightly rusting pipe and reminds us that entropy in our social system is inevitable. Or, could I be reading too much into it and it's just a leaky faucet?

I was thinking the exact same thing.
Les Posted May 30, 2009 Report Posted May 30, 2009 me too! what a bunch of crap!!! we should win some sort of prize. I do like Mike's more better.
gtblum Posted May 30, 2009 Report Posted May 30, 2009 Not as cool as Mike's. "Could you run the kitchen faucet again?" Click to Enlarge 36.03 KB

And to think I never would have seen the leak if I hadn't tripped over that damn bucket on the floor.
