Terence McCann Posted May 17, 2009 Report Posted May 17, 2009 This picture was taken in a crawl space. There was a sump pump in the other side of the basement. Why the crock with nothing in it? The crawl space was very wet as well. Click to Enlarge 42.49 KB

Terence McCann Posted May 17, 2009 Author Report Posted May 17, 2009 Maybe that was the original intent however no power outlets were near by nor were there any holes where the piping would have gone out.
Bain Posted May 17, 2009 Report Posted May 17, 2009 Clueless, but maybe it was installed to run mechanicals through to a detached garage or something. Is that concrete around the lip, or I am mis-seeing it?
Terence McCann Posted May 18, 2009 Author Report Posted May 18, 2009 Why ask why? Umm, 'cause it's our job?

Is that concrete around the lip, or I am mis-seeing it? Yes. The floor of the crawl space is all concrete. The terracotta crock is sunken into the floor.
hausdok Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 Isn't it obvious? It's a portal to hell. You're lucky something didn't reach up out of there, grab you and drag you into that hole leaving only your camera there as mute testimony to what had happened. Were you wearing some kind of icon? ONE TEAM - ONE FIGHT!!! Mike [:-dopey]
