Hey Caoimhín,

Didn't I just hear someplace that you and the mold lady, Sharon Kramer, are both speaking at some kind of conference in the coming days?

It that's true, what's that all about; is there going to be a no-holds-barred bare knuckled cage match? Watch out, she's got a whole legion of followers ready to tar and feather and then impale anyone that takes issue with her views. You might need an armed escort or at least the Dynamic Duo to get you out of there alive. [:-batman]

ONE TEAM - ONE FIGHT!!!

Hello Steven!

We don’t have the final schedule out. However, it will be held at the U. of Vermont July 13-15.

Cheers!

Moderator??

Sigh. Shucks, just when I thought I might have a reason to go back to New England and visit Vermont after not having been back there for 30 years.

Oh well, maybe next time.

So if you are the moderator, does that mean you will not dispute any "hogwash?"

I wish it were a debate.

Please post the schedule when it is available. I'm in NYC, I would consider the drive.

Good morning, all:

For the record:

Ms. Kramer was a no-show.

The Johnson Conference was a success.

Cheers!

Hmm, a tax deductible fly fishing trip.

Great. There's this little hole in the Battinkill, right behind - aw, skip it. I don't know you well enough yet.

Connecticut conservatism at it's best.

Ya all come on out to sunny Oregon and I will show you what fishing is all about - Dechutes Redsides on a dry are something to behold!!

Especially before summer hits, when the softer people don't want to go outside, but don't tell anyone...........[;)]

Brandon - used to float Warm Springs to Maupin the around last week in May. We would float till we "found the hatch" and then set up. 40+ per day was not uncommon - God for the old days. Not to much pressue at that time and still not many splash and giggle people.

Dear All,

I have been meaning to make contact with this discussion group for quite some time. A post made on another chatboard that was recently brought to my attention reminded me.

Two items of which I wanted to make you all aware that have the potential to impact your IAQ businesses. One is positive. One is negative.

1. OSHA issued an excellent directive regarding the maintenance of commercial and industrial buildings and the importance of IAQ considerations. These types of advisories add weight to the importance of your work. We blogged about it at Katy's Exposure and gave a brief overview as to how the advisory pertains specifically to water damaged buildings. You may read the OSHA report at Katy's Exposure OSHA

2. This one has more to do with the politics that always seem to pervade this issue. For those of you in CA, this has the potential to make your jobs a bit harder because you will have limited legal recourse should an insurer or other private party unreasonably attack your work or just refuse to pay. Katy's Exposure Cal Courts Fiasco

So, these are just a heads up. Wishing you the best of success with your businesses.

PS. Interesting name to this thread. Hell yes I will bite. But only if one childishly and unprofessionally bites first! Connell on ToxLaw 7.21.11

We live in a confusing world but with the help of a few well-articulated conspiracy theories, it all makes sense.
