At my inspection I turned the corner and found this.

I said to myself’ am I going to pull the cover off of this?

I took a close look and saw that this was not a Stab-Loc that I normally find.

It did not look too bad.

Is there any known problem with this type of Federal Pacific panel besides being old?

Wow,

Copper buses, screw connections to breakers and adequate bending space. What were they thinking at FPE when they went to that dingbat Stab-Lok design from this one?

Wonder if those breakers are a more reliable design than the Stab-Lok breakers? I bet Douglas Hansen would love to get his hands on that panel for his classes.
