WAUKESHA, Wis.

The federal government is reporting a 22.2 percent jump in home construction this February and some local business owners believe there is hope for overall home sales, despite the troubling state of the economy.

Housing experts explain it simply -- prices are dropping on homes so people are buying. A few companies who have been hurting because of the housing crisis said things are finally looking up.

The last few months have been rough for Dale Grudzina and the home inspection business.
