Richard Moore Posted March 7, 2009 Report Posted March 7, 2009 Had one of those combo, ventless, washer dryers today in a closet of an old apartment building gone condo. Really no easy way to vent a regular dryer. Click to Enlarge 47.81 KB Might be only the second one I've ever seen. I understood just enough to explain it condensed the moisture and then pumped it out but I really didn't know how it worked. I found this at the manufacturer's web-site that might help me, and maybe others here, be just a little more knowledgable next time. http://www.lgwasherdryer.com/pdf/condensing_dryers.pdf
kurt Posted March 7, 2009 Report Posted March 7, 2009 I tell 'em to put a redundant drain pan under the thing too. I read somewhere that leaking laundry equipment has jumped to the #3 or 4th most common payout in residential insurance claims.
hausdok Posted March 7, 2009 Report Posted March 7, 2009 Hi Richard, Down at #1400 Hubbell Place - the Elektra? I thought they were kind of cool until I'd seen how rumpled everything was that came out of one. You own one of those, you'd better have an ironing board. OT - OF!!! M.
