This was a townhouse built in the mid-80's. Was this some type of installation aid for the construction electrician?? It looks like someone took some colored sharpies to the terminal screws. I don't know why. Would the electrician's in your area have been conscientious enough to have torqued them to a specific tightness and then marked them to that effect? - Jim Katen, Oregon
JeremyDP Posted March 6, 2009 Report Posted March 6, 2009 May each color represents the use. Blue - bathrooms, pool, spa (although they aren't GFCIs) Green - family room, living room red - kitchen or security yellow - bedrooms
