AHI in AR Posted November 29, 2008 Report Posted November 29, 2008 I'd just like to add my observation that it's pretty generous for our site hosts to allow this sort of competing product advertising. FREE. I haven't checked out the competing product yet, but I assume that Mike, et al must be either very confident or feeling generous.
dcmeagle Posted November 29, 2008 Author Report Posted November 29, 2008 Hi Kevin, Both the Mike's are great guys. Mike Brown from InspectExpress who hosts the site on their server doesn't have a problem as long as the competition (like us) pay to advertise on the site which I think is only fair. They foot most of the bill for the server the forum runs on, so it makes sense!
StevenT Posted November 29, 2008 Report Posted November 29, 2008 I have used a few different report programs and didn't like any of them... even the ones I almost liked. I have never used IE, but have only heard good things about it, if ever I was in the market, I'm sure that is the program I would use. Besides the product, Mike B is a decent and very supportive man. I do use HIPro. I am very happy with it. I is very flexible and once you pass the learnig curve it is a great time saver. The finished product is very handsome and the support is great.
AHI in AR Posted November 29, 2008 Report Posted November 29, 2008 I didn't pay enough attention to recognize that Home Inspector Pro was a paid advertiser. My bad.

Thanks Steve, It's been great having your input as part of our beta team over the past year. I hope you had a happy Thanksgiving! Dominic
dcmeagle Posted December 25, 2008 Author Report Posted December 25, 2008 We've extended this deal to December 31st because of the good response and a lot of request from people who haven't had enough time to fully try it out (too much Christmas shopping I guess, hehe) . This actually may end up being more than $150 off if you wait until next year as there's a good possibility we'll be raising our prices soon.
