Jerry Simon Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 Receptacle is above fireplace, for wall-mounted T.V. It's not grounded. There's a brass clip protruding off the left side of the receptacle, and clip is attached to left receptacle cover plate screw (see pict). Clip and lack of grounding related? Or, what is the clip for? Or, what am I missing? Thanks. Image Insert: 12.75 KB
Tom Raymond Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 That is a wall clock receptacle. Rotate it 90 deg. clockwise, the hook is to hang the clock. It should be grounded. Tom
Jerry Simon Posted November 20, 2008 Author Report Posted November 20, 2008 TY, Tom. Guess I better avoid a lawsuit and tell my client not to hang their $4,500 plasma TV from the clip.
caryseidner Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 Can't wait for Jerry to get a 15MP camera!

hausdok Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 Hi Jerry, Just resize them to a smaller size so that those on dialup don't have to wait ten minutes for the picture to load. If you've got Windows XP you can get a free downsizer at Powertoys for Windows. If you've got something else, google "free image downsizers" and I'm sure you'll find something that will work. Just make sure that after you save the picture to your computer and click it to resize it, that you change the name on the downsized photo and remove any spaces or parenthesis before you try to post it. ONE TEAM - ONE FIGHT!!! Mike
