How Long is suspected asbestos cement shingles suppose to last?

I am thinking 50-60 years.

This one is 58 years old.

I've seen them fail as early as 50 years. I've seen some make it to 85 years.

Bill,

Thanks for the link. I will sent it to my client. When I talked to him I cover all of the items you have in there.

The flashing was replaced a few year back but they did not use copper which would last longer if it was installed right.
