Please guys,

Stick to the issue of what you think is a reasonable standard and why.

A confined space is a confined space period.

when there is only one manner of access and egress, it's a confined space. Be it an attic a crawlspace a silo a watertank or whatever. If you hero your way into a hole and wad yourself up, someone else has to risk their tail dragging you out. So maybe those guys are the ones to ask. Industry saftey standards should be taken very seriously while we still have some control over them. Before someone else does it for us.

I think y’all are wasting your valuable time herding cats that don’t need to be herded. (Ya ever really try to herd cats, impossible!)

Why is it that as soon as state boards are formed, one of the first things they try to do is put their "stamp" on inspectors in the state?

There's three fairly reasonable national standards already out there. Why does the wheel have to be reinvented.

Make the inspector chose one of the national standards to follow and then leave it alone.

It leaves room for individuality and saves your valuable volunteer time for better pursuits.

You'll never find everybody agreeing on ONE standard. Leave some room for choice and get on with more important stuff instead of reinventing the wheel to put y'all's stamp on the state's home inspectors.
