DonTx Posted May 20, 2004 Report Posted May 20, 2004 For those who use direct marketing using a list broker, how much do you pay for each name? I was just quoted a price of around 18.6 cents per name. That wouldn't be bad for a few hundred names, but we're talking about 17,000 names! Donald
charlieb Posted May 21, 2004 Report Posted May 21, 2004 Quoted .098 for almost 20,000 names today. 4000 min
DonTx Posted May 21, 2004 Author Report Posted May 21, 2004 Thanks Charlie. I did some searching this afternoon and came up with a company that charges .02 cents and I can choose as many or few as I want. There is a $100 minimum. This way, when I'm really busy, I don't have to worry about wasting names. Donald
Brian G Posted May 21, 2004 Report Posted May 21, 2004 Pardon my thread-crashing Donald, but where do you find these people who sell the lists? Are they in the yellow pages (and if so, under what?)? I sort of doubt if there is such a critter around here, but if there is I would be interested. Brian G.
DonTx Posted May 21, 2004 Author Report Posted May 21, 2004 Brian, You can find them on the internet by googling 'List Brokers'. One company is out of San Antonio called www.listbrokers.com. (when their website is working). A great source of names to market 1 year warranty inspections.
DLRambo Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 Brian - In several of the yellow pages around me they're under "Mailing Lists" or similar things.
charlieb Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 Thank you Donald, 10 cent w/ $400 min was more than I cared to deal with.
