If you have access to it again, try picking it up and looking at side that is now the bottom. You may see a coin slot.

... you may be right, I may be crazy! But the set up in the picture is amazingly similar to what I have described.

It looks a bit like some sort of zone or damper control to me. The enlarged picture shows what looks like a sealed flat brass tube like you would find in a barometer or thermostat. There appear to be galvanized metal flaps or louvers running horizontally.

Phillip, quit teasing us. You know this sort of useless question is likely to cause some among us to engage in useless speculation for waaaaaay too long. Can you call the seller and ask what it is?

Oh hell! While we are still speculating; The metalwork reminds me of an old Coke machine I used to have at a previous business. It's obviously too small for that (and missing the thingies that keep it cold) so I'm guessing a cigarette dispenser, but it could be a Pachinko machine.

Next time you see something like that, Phillip...pick the damn thing up and take a photo of the front! [:D]

I have no idea what it is.

I don,t have the sellers number.

I wish I had taken more photo of it and had picked it up, it is from the house that I posted the report of.

Richard, I believe you are on to something. The tracks look to be the right sizes for that.
