Hillbilly light fixture

This is an example of a person who know what they want and just can't buy it so they made it! In the basement this guy had every type of wood working machine one would ever want. Only problem was that most were made in the 1920's!

Actually, when visualizing a hillbilly light fixture, I envision a bare bulb hanging by its wires from a tree branch. Or maybe a bulb encased in an old saltines tin perforated via a 12 gauge shotgun at an appropriate distance.

As I see it, there was some skill and (dare I say it) engineering in your fancy-schmancy swing away light fixture!

Of course, you have to ignore the wiring issues...
