charlieb Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 Does anyone have any clue what the cause for the blemish in the coating on the interior of this microwave door may be? Image Insert: 27.11 KB Image Insert: 24.57 KB
Brian G Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 Over-microwaved door sealant? [?] Brian G. Yummy.... [:-yuck]
Michael Carson Posted June 27, 2008 Report Posted June 27, 2008 Improperly installed do it yourself window tint? Or, someone tried melting/killing the creature in Miscellaneous Discussions forum "The strangest Whatzit..." before throwing on the roof.
charlieb Posted June 27, 2008 Author Report Posted June 27, 2008 Brian--nope Michael -- nope Kevin, ya got to be kidding Oh you are Just an anomaly. I don't use the micro test devices. I just boil water to check the appliance. This is the typical coating that is seen inside of the door. I suspect it was caused by a chemical solvent.
msteger Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 I was going to guess that someone was microwaving a brownie or chocolate cake and let it get a little too hot and it bubbled and burst.
