We have lost the best newsperson in the business of explaining our world's politics to us, IMO. Tim Russert's passing has left Buffalo reeling.

No doubt. The nation lost a major asset yesterday. He brought every politician's game up.

He was the only man w/a brain in the entire world of news media.

When he'd train that look on the interviewee, and arch up that left eyebrow, the man was the peregrine falcon.

Ya know, what I liked about him, is that it was always about the interviewee. He didn't put his ego in front of the interview and he asked those piercing questions so tactfully without ever being an asshole about it.

Most of them are so busy trying to act like a know it all and make their points thru their questions instead of truly inteviewing the person.
