Jim Baird Posted May 5, 2008 Report Posted May 5, 2008 Let me guess Phillip. The formed end of the washer's drain pipe must have been long enough to go all the way down into that two-inch standpipe. Since that connection is supposed to be indirect, you could say that this installation "exceeds" code requirement.
