John Dirks Jr
If I remove sensitive personal information, is there anything wrong with using an actual inspection report as a sample? Do you think I should get the permission of the client first?
davidlord
Nothing better as a sample than an actual report. Like you said just take out the personal info.
Brian G
Ditto. On those all-to-rare occasions when some calls wanting to see a sample report, I copy a recent one, change the names and addresses, and sent them that. There's nothing wrong with that. Brian G. John Dirks Jr
Ok good then. I think I'm getting better at report writing and my last two are formatted different than the one posted on my site. I need to dump the one on my site and replace it with my new style. I need to correct a few minor errors first. It aint perfect but it's gettin better. I'll let you all know when I replace to old one. Then you can go look at the new one and tear into me. Darren
John, My sample (example) report is an actual inspection I did that didn't go thru. After I did the second inspection for the client, I asked them if I could use the first report (after I removed the name & address)
