Chad Fabry Posted March 6, 2008 Report Posted March 6, 2008 I have occasion to be in Ohio for the 15th and the 16th this month. I'll be in Dublin and Cincinnati. Anyone interested in lunch? I can bring extra sandwiches.
hausdok Posted March 6, 2008 Report Posted March 6, 2008 Subway or Quizno's sandwiches? OT - OF!!! M.
Bill Kibbel Posted March 7, 2008 Report Posted March 7, 2008 I have to be in Wisconsin on the 15th. I'll wave when my plane passes over yours.
kurt Posted March 7, 2008 Report Posted March 7, 2008 Which reminds me.... I apologize for missing this opportunity to see and hear Kibbel appearing right in my own neighborhood. I've had a long planned meeting that weekend, and simply couldn't make it. My loss.
emalernee Posted March 7, 2008 Report Posted March 7, 2008 The Ohio chapter of ASHI has a conference that weekend in Columbus. Stop by, I'm sure you could sneak into the Saturday luncheon. Columbus Marriott North Hotel, 6500 Doubletree Ave. Columbus, Ohio 43229. The Budweiser brewery is just up the street if the foods no good at the hotel. Ezra Malernee Canton, Ohio
Chad Fabry Posted March 7, 2008 Author Report Posted March 7, 2008 I'll have to look at a map, but I very well may do that. addendum: Thanks for the head's up, Ezra. The meeting is only 12 miles from my gig. Unless something changes expect to see me there.
Chad Fabry Posted March 7, 2008 Author Report Posted March 7, 2008 I have to be in Wisconsin on the 15th. I'll wave when my plane passes over yours. I'm driving. My 24 foot extension ladder won't fit in a carry on bag.
Les Posted March 7, 2008 Report Posted March 7, 2008 Chad, I can't make it, but would appreciate you sending the $8.34 you would have spent on me for lunch. Thank You.
AHI in AR Posted March 8, 2008 Report Posted March 8, 2008 Chad-- Like Les, I can't make it either... However, I'm sure it would be a lovely lunch and your conversation would be scintillating, to say the least. I'm more disappointed than you can imagine that I won't be there. So here's my proposal: Keep the $8.34 that Les wants for lunch. My treat. Just send me the $738 that airfare would cost me and we'll be even. Sound fair? I await your considered response.
hausdok Posted March 8, 2008 Report Posted March 8, 2008 I dunno, With the cost of gas nowadays, it might cost him that much to drive down there. What's the cost of gas back east? I paid $369.9 a gallon on Monday and I haven't been paying attention the rest of the week. OT - OF!!! M.

I'm going to look at the little Chevy HHR tomorrow to see if my ladder will fit. $4.00 a gallon by summer.
Chad Fabry Posted March 8, 2008 Author Report Posted March 8, 2008 Les and Kevin, I'll send your checks Monday. You guys are too good to me.
Erby Posted March 8, 2008 Report Posted March 8, 2008 Chad, Cincinnati is only 45 minutes from me. I have to be there later on the afternoon of the 16th. If you'll be in Cincinatti on the 16th, I'd have an excuse to be there earlier. I'm a sucker for free food. Let me know. erby@b4uclose.com
Phillip Posted March 8, 2008 Report Posted March 8, 2008 Gas in my neck of the wood is $3.01.9 - $3.19.9 for low grade depending on the brand name.
