stealth low profile vents

I saw these for the first time today, is anyone familiar with them?

What's your roof profile like? Have you got open eaves with frieze vents or enclosed soffits?

I'm not familiar with those vents but they seem to be restrictive and that would be my concern. Sounds like someone is trying to make money by making a component more inconspicuous and ignoring the functionality aspect.

I found similar vents on a "S" tile roof last month. The vent covers were made from cooper that was formed over some of the tiles. They covered small square vents that looked like the dryer vents that go on roofs. This was just one of the many problems with the home. Yes, they leaked.
