That's just it, when you read these articles they never tell you stuff like that because it will ruin the article. The author of the article probably wrote something like, "After getting some complaints," and the copy editor stepped in and said, "That's too weak," and changed it to a "huge number of complaints."

For the regular newshounds it's all about sensationalism, ratings, and making the story seem more important than it is. Compared to the actual number of homes sold in that state, and the number of complaints against reeltors, or say, auto mechanics, I bet the number of actual complaints is minute.
