warren Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 I am looking for training or standards for conducting general energy surveys as an additional service. Any suggestions?
John Dirks Jr Posted October 15, 2007 Report Posted October 15, 2007 Man that is a tough one. Do you realize how many different variables are associated with trying to make a guess at that? Not only the number of variables but also the fact that many of the variables are always changing. The record of utility bills will give one some real information.
Tim Maxwell Posted October 15, 2007 Report Posted October 15, 2007 http://www.hometuneup.com/ Give this company a call. I've never tried it but did sit through a presentation by their company once.

rossneag Posted February 1, 2008 Report Posted February 1, 2008 There's an energy survey or an energy audit and they are very, very different. Try RESNET and plug in your zip code to find someone in your area. An inexperienced "energy guy" can steer you far from the actual correct course of action, unknowingly. Stick with a pro, it will pay for itself in the end.
