hausdok Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 Hi Mark, First impression, it looks like one of the Omni-Wood patterns, but I'd need a sample to know for certain. OT - OF!!! M.
Chris Bernhardt Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 Weyerhaeuser and masonite both made that pattern. But I don't recall seeing any with that groove near the drip edge from either mfg. Chris, Oregon
Swedefinn Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 Perhaps a Temple Inland product. Clue is the dark, almost black furnish?
Les Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 Mark must be really conflicted with a user name - Swedefinn! I have often thought of "MoreorLess" He might be onto something with the Temple Inland product.

Mark P Posted September 23, 2007 Author Report Posted September 23, 2007 Thanks guys. I tell you if someone would come up with a comprehensive siding identification book, I’d pay good $ for it. I just ordered the one from www.sidingsolutions.com/pages/order.htm but someone has since commented they found it useless.

There's also a phone number in the book. The gal at the other end of that number is very helpful. -Jim Katen, Oregon
