hausdok Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 Now that the deadline has passed for some folks' CEU's, it's time to begin garnering points for next year. Certainteed has just added two new courses to their already extensive lineup of on-line continuing education courses. Take advantage of these - you'll probably learn something; I know I did. The new courses are Procedures for Successful Built-up Asphalt Roofing & Repairs and Modified Asphalt Roofing & Repairs. ONE TEAM - ONE FIGHT!!! Mike
Les Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 I agree. The modules are really quite good. Even if they cover stuff you think you know, the process puts you in the learning mode. The exams are better than average for online learning.
Brian G Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 I like 'em, and for free you can't complain much, but they do have a certain....perspective. If Certainteed makes a given product, the good points get more emphasis than the bad. If not, it's the other way around. For example, in any test question involving cellulose insulation, the answer is invariably the least flattering of the choices. I suppose they're entitled to that, on their own dime. Brian G. Eagle Eye Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 Thanks Mike, Your dedication here really is great. I wish I would have found this place years ago. .... and the links are still good!
hausdok Posted April 3, 2008 Author Report Posted April 3, 2008 Hi Don, Yeah, I know, much to my sponsors' chagrin, TIJ is the best kept home inspectors' secret on the internet. Welcome to the TIJ family. ONE TEAM - ONE FIGHT!!! Mike
dgray2 Posted December 18, 2013 Report Posted December 18, 2013 I have taken a couple of the courses that were very good. How do I print my certificate for the course? I need a cert to get my CE credit, called certainteed and they have not got back to me. Anyone else having this problem? Thanks David
Brandon Whitmore Posted December 19, 2013 Report Posted December 19, 2013 Are Certainteed's courses approved for CE credit?
AbsoluteInspector Posted September 11, 2014 Report Posted September 11, 2014 Thanks I don't need any CE credits but I am relatively new to the inspection industry and Im always looking for places to expand my knowledge.
