Naw, I'm just tired. Besides work today, I got called to do an emergency inspection on a repo. A fellow I know is going to an auction tomorrow. The house was ransaked and appeared to be abandoned. I got lots of disgusting photos.

- Cuz da book says it's a no-no.

- Probably because one sink fill of water draining might siphon the other trap.

The water doesn't know that it's supposed to turn when it gets to the common drain pipe. Install a sign for it with an arrow showing the proper direction.

The corrugated trap is prohibited.

Sounds like it was to far away from the sink, and they improvised.More than likely it is clamped to the black hose with a piece of galvinized half inch pipe and two hose clamps.

This is common but green hose has a tendency to leak as it does not have the flexability to adjust to the pipe coupling.

The part I can see looks like a screw on which is bad.Think of all the times they leak outside.

I would have recommended it be replaced .

Everything above, except it is a disposer and not disposal. Someday I will dig up the letter I got from ISE reminding me, on penalty of death, they own the word. ya ya ya

That is wrong, isnt it?

Yeah shouldn't slope uphill.

yeah, i believe they are in parallel not series. double trapping is when you have two drains each with a trap and the one goes into the other.
