Scottpat
This was almost in downtown Nashville, TN! I really could not believe what I was seeing at first. The owner of the home had a gas wall heater put in for the 2000 Millennium scare! So this behemoth has been in place for over seven years! Erby
But isn't there a minimum distance from the house for those things?

Without looking it up, I think that size is 25'. Then you have to take into consideration of the neighbors house.

I haven't looked it up since I found this handy illustration: Just right click on it and select "Save Image As".

John Dirks Jr
I have a question on the propane tanks. You see the diagram that Bill posted above and it shows the distances from various parts of the house. According to the diagram you see the 125 gallon tank should not be closer than 5' from a crawl space opening. If there are two separate 125 gal tanks sitting directly side by side each other, do the same tolerances apply?
