hausdok Posted March 14, 2004 Report Posted March 14, 2004 Okay, at Brian G's suggestion, I've established this category for those who want to talk about historic properties. Enjoy. ONE TEAM - ONE FIGHT!!! Mike
Brian G Posted March 14, 2004 Report Posted March 14, 2004 Thanks Mike. Are you gonna move that thread over? Brian G.

Brian G Posted March 14, 2004 Report Posted March 14, 2004 Snazzy Victorian. My wife would love it, I'm sure. All of those Victorians make the ladies weak in the knees for some reason. I think it's that "doll house" look, plus the gingerbread, of course. Brian G.
Bill Kibbel Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 This is great Mike! Thanks. And thank you for the exposure for HBIA. While reading one of Mike's posts, my three and a half year old son saw his avatar and said "Look Dad, it's a superhero!" I'm thinkin' he might be right.
n/a27 Posted March 17, 2004 Report Posted March 17, 2004 Another fantastic idea. Before my ex decided I should relocate and my back wore out, I had a remodeling business in Cincinnati and was headed toward doing restoration work on the old girls. My most memorable project was a civil-war era concrete house (one of three on the street). I got to build a wall and replicate woodwork in the "parlor" and then went on to work for this couple for about nine months doing all kinds of things, including two bedrooms and a bath in the previously unfinished attic. And it was all done for time and material. THOSE were the days my friends.
