Chris Bernhardt Posted June 30, 2007 Report Posted June 30, 2007 Can two cables enter a plastic box through one knock out? If the tab is too weak to be a sufficient strain relief and the cable can be pulled out is there certain fix that should be done? Image Insert: 45.92 KB Chris, Oregon

You'd have to ask Carlon that one. They get to decide. I suspect they'll object. First of all, there are plenty of other tabs through which the second cable can pass. Second, the tab can only grab one cable so the second will always be able to slip in and out. If the tab is too weak to be a sufficient strain relief and the cable can be pulled out is there certain fix that should be done? If the cable were secured within 12" of the box as was supposed to have been, that wouldn't be a problem. - Jim Katen, Oregon
