Joe Tedesco Posted June 14, 2007 Report Posted June 14, 2007 I have been collecting old electrical books for over 30 years, and now can find most of them on line in PDF format here! http://books.google.com/books I have downloaded many early electrical books, such as the National Electrical Code, and American Electrician's Handbook. There are many. Be sure to click full text for downloads. Some are over 40 MB's.
hausdok Posted June 14, 2007 Report Posted June 14, 2007 Very cool, I especially like the language used in the intro of that 1896 guide to the NEC. That thar be some high falutin' talkin'. OT - OF!!! M.
Les Posted June 14, 2007 Report Posted June 14, 2007 Joe, Sometimes we all forget about how we got here. The old books are cool and worth seeing!
Steven Hockstein Posted June 16, 2007 Report Posted June 16, 2007 I also collect old code books and Architecture Handbooks. It is amazing how things have gotten so much more complicated as we are "Smarter" about buildings.
