I have been collecting old electrical books for over 30 years, and now can find most of them on line in PDF format here!

I have downloaded many early electrical books, such as the National Electrical Code, and American Electrician's Handbook.

There are many. Be sure to click full text for downloads.

Some are over 40 MB's.

I also collect old code books and Architecture Handbooks. It is amazing how things have gotten so much more complicated as we are "Smarter" about buildings.
