Main service panel?

I have not seen a main service panel like this before. Anyone know what the story is with this? I would appreciate any feedback.

It's an old pre-breaker FPE. Did you get any pictures of the interior? I would have loved to have found that sucker and been able to get a look inside.

Thanks. I get to go back. There is a secondary cover on this. I didn't pull that one. I'm wondering what to look for or will that be the same as any primary panel?

I'm not so sure that this thing doesn't take breakers. I'd love to see behind that lower panel.

It's designed to accommodate either three-phase or single-phase systems. Lots of room for screw-ups in there.

Please post more pics when you get a chance.
